CMA Continues Growth, Expands Staff

Outstanding Small Business Welcomes 3 Employees to In-House Marketing Communications Team

PRINCETON JUNCTION, N.J.—Sept. 1, 2016— CMA Association Management (CMA), a full-service, award-winning association management and strategic marketing firm, announced today the addition of three new staff members to its in-house marketing team.

“Joe’s national and international marketing experience makes him an invaluable asset to the team,” Barnhart said. “He brings a wealth of innovative ideas and strategies that position our clients for continued success.”Account Executive Joseph DeFalco manages marketing and brand campaigns from the creative stage through implementation. He develops strategic marketing and media plans, oversees projects and ensures that work is completed on time and on budget. He has developed and executed marketing plans (traditional and digital) for both retail and corporate entities, including media plans, internet presence, collateral, trade shows, direct mail and public relations.

As the international marketing and advertising director for a major fashion company in Italy, DeFalco introduced a new brand to the U.S. market and secured more than $1 million in orders from major retailers including Bloomingdale’s, Bergdorf Goodman and Saks Fifth Avenue. He launched the Parmalat milk brand in the United States, increasing company sales by more than $100 million within 15 months and helped a regional New Jersey medical practice increase traffic to its website by 350 percent within three months by creating a targeted pay-per-click campaign.

DeFalco earned a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from Baruch College in New York and an MBA in international marketing. He is fluent in Italian and Portuguese.

Her responsibilities at CMA include leading projects and fostering client relationships.

Samuel is the founder and president of Elephants DC, a non-profit organization dedicated to ending ivory trade worldwide and advancing elephant well-being. Previously, she served as the managing editor of the Windsor-Hights Herald and Register News, responsible for the production and editorial content of two weekly newspapers covering more than a dozen municipalities.Public Relations and Social Media Specialist Jen Samuel has more than 10 years of experience as an editor, writer and journalist. She is responsible for building and maintaining client relationships and brands, developing strategic and creative communications plans and campaign tactics, while generating new business initiatives.
