PRINCETON JUNCTION, N.J.—July 26, 2016—CMA Association Management (CMA), a full-service association management and award-winning marketing firm, announced today that its marketing and public relations division is a Silver Sponsor of the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure Central and South Jersey.

“We are excited to be selected as the marketing partner who will help promote Susan G. Komen Central and South Jersey’s top fundraising event of the year,” said Jeffrey Barnhart, CMA CEO and president, whose company was recognized as Outstanding Small Business of the Year by the MIDJersey Chamber of Commerce in April for its history of advancing associations to the next level with management, value-added services, marketing and public relations. “Our employees have already begun to organize Team CMA so we can turn our partnership into a true company-wide, family-friendly event at the Race for the Cure.”

The in-house public relations team at CMA will deliver several public relations campaigns designed to increase registrations for the Race for the Cure, which will take place on Nov. 6, 2016 at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, N.J.

New Jersey has the third highest death rate in the+ U.S. states and the eighth highest number of new breast cancer cases nationally. Up to 75 percent of net funds raised stays right here in Central and South Jersey to support education, screening and treatment programs, and a minimum of 25 percent is contributed to Komen’s national research efforts.

“We were introduced to Komen Central and South Jersey through our employees that serve as volunteers for The Race for the Cure,” Barnhart said. “Community involvement is something that all of our employees are passionate about and I’m proud to have a team that cares so deeply about giving back.”
